The Garretson Community Fire Department will be hosting a Tailgate Party Friday September 5, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the Athletic Complex prior to the Garretson - Centerville Football Game. The menu includes Chili and Drink for a Free Will Donation, with all proceeds going to the Garretson Fire Department. Come out Friday and support the Fire Department and Blue Dragons!

Friday August 29, 2025 prior to the Garretson-De Smet Football Game we will celebrate Parents Night for our Cross Country and Football Programs…this includes athletes and support staff. Parents night introductions will begin at 6:35 pm.

Please be aware of a small change to our adult lunch price for the upcoming school year. Due to federal & state requirements, the minimum we are allowed to charge is $5.15 per meal. The School Board recently approved $5.10 for the per meal adult lunch price at the July board meeting. This change will be in effect to start the school year and will be approved officially by the Board at the September 8, 2025 board meeting. Thank you for your understanding!
Tuesday August 19, 2025 our Soccer Team hosts Groton Area…Match time is 6:00 pm. We will also celebrate Parents Night with introductions beginning at 5:45 pm. Parents please line up at the North end of the complex by our team bench by 5:35 pm.

What do BLUE DRAGON football players do after early morning practice? Our team looks for ways to make our community better! The team brought rakes, shovels and wheel barrows down to the playground to finish the process of leveling the wood chips so that everything is ready to go for our little ones!
