One Act Play auditions are just around the corner! December 4th and 5th, please mark your calendars for auditions!
We will meet in the choir room at 7:00 AM both days for some read through auditions. Please plan to attend both sessions. (Contact Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Schweitzer)
This year's competition play is a comedy by Jack Frakes called "Once Upon a Playground." Auditions are open to all students in 7th-12th grade. Practices take place in the mornings before school from December-end of January. We compete at Region 2A in Lennox on January 27th, 2026. The top two schools from each region advance to the State Festival. If you'd like more details or information, please see Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Schweitzer.

Those 5th-11th grade girls interested in playing JO Volleyball in the Spring of 2026 please fill out the google form by scanning the QR Code below. Numbers need to be known by Dec. 7, 2025, for team purposes.
Monday December 1, 2025 JH GBB at McCook Central/Montrose with the Game played at Montrose…4:00 pm. This will be 1 combined 7 & 8 Grade Game.

The Winter Athletic Meeting for 7-12 Students and their Parents will be held Monday November 10, 2025…6:30 pm in the GHS New Gym. Following this meeting the Wrestling, Girls Basketball, and Boys Basketball Coaches will hold meetings to discuss their individual sport seasons and answer questions that athletes or parents may have. The JH Girls Basketball and JH Boys Basketball Coaches will also meet with athletes and parents after the general meeting. Just a reminder all 2025-2026 Athletic Paperwork (including Physicals) will be completed on-line.
