The Garretson JH & JV Football Games at Colman-Egan Monday September 8, 2025 originally scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm will now begin at 3:30 pm…JH followed by JV.
7th graders learn about living and non living organisms. They are looking at different specimens on the brand new microscopes.
Third grade is loving using the new play equipment to learn about motion, forces, and push/pull in science!
The volleyball team is hosting a fundraiser to raise awareness and support those affected by breast cancer. As part of the event, we’re selling special Breast Cancer Awareness T-Shirts, perfect to wear at our October games and beyond! All proceeds are donated to aid local fighters, survivors, and families.

The Garretson Varsity Soccer Match at Home with Vermillion Tuesday September 9, 2025 originally scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm, will now be played at 6:00 pm. The JV Soccer Match has been CANCELLED.
The Garretson JH Volleyball Matches at St. Mary’s Monday September 8, 2025 originally scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm, will now begin at 3:30 pm…7th Grade followed by 8th Grade.
The Garretson JV Football Team plays in the Alcester-Hudson Jamboree Saturday September 6, 2025. Their first game is at 9:30 am, with all games at Alcester.
Friday September 5, 2025 prior to the Garretson-Centerville Football Game we will celebrate our Football Field and Track Naming Ceremony at the Garretson Athletic Complex. The ceremony will begin at 6:30 pm, we invite our community, alumni, and former athletes to come out as we name our Football Field…Clarence Kooistra Football Field and Track…Jeff Sylliaasen & Bob Bennett Track.
The Garretson Community Fire Department will be hosting a Tailgate Party Friday September 5, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the Athletic Complex prior to the Garretson - Centerville Football Game. The menu includes Chili and Drink for a Free Will Donation, with all proceeds going to the Garretson Fire Department. Come out Friday and support the Fire Department and Blue Dragons!

Friday August 29, 2025 prior to the Garretson-De Smet Football Game we will celebrate Parents Night for our Cross Country and Football Programs…this includes athletes and support staff. Parents night introductions will begin at 6:35 pm.
