What an awesome opportunity to recognize all the accomplishments and wonderful students we have here at Garretson. Our first quarter recognition featured BLAZE and FIRE awards, recognition of activities, clubs, and athletics, as well as ACE awards.

Reminder that there is no Preschool on Monday November 4 due to parent-teacher conferences. Have a great weekend!
Reminder that parent-teacher conferences are on Monday (Nov. 4) starting at 2:30. Students are dismissed at 1:30. The Garretson PTO will be selling apparel, tumbler mugs, and Papa Murphy's coupon cards during conferences. There is also no school on Friday Nov. 8. Happy Halloween!
Life Skills classes from Garretson and Baltic joining together for activities at Morningside Community Center.
Field Trip Day to The Resort by SDK! Students from both Garretson and Baltic life skills classes enjoyed interacting with each other and reading to dogs, dogs, and more dogs!
Garretson Volleyball earned a 1st Round Bye for the Region 3A Tourney and will play Thursday Nov. 7 at Sioux Falls Christian.

Attention any students and/or parents who will be attending the All-State Chorus and Orchestra concert at the Premier Center on Saturday. Denny Sanford Premier Center has a new Bag Policy at their venue.

Alissa with South Dakota School for the Deaf visited Mrs. HV’s Kindergarten class today! She is teaching us how to communicate with a classmate who is deaf. We loved learning days of the week, and classroom objects!
