For those of you who were at the Big East Volleyball finals in Montrose on Saturday, you were probably aware that a gentleman from MCM had a medical emergency during the game. A number of people came out from the stands (including some from Garretson) to help in this very difficult situation. We received this message via Facebook messenger today from the family, and they asked us to pass it along to our public.
"Could you please share this message on behalf of the McCormick Family
The McCormick family would like to extend a heartfelt “THANK YOU” to each and every person who assisted with Mike on Saturday evening at the volleyball game. From those who rushed to his side to provide medical care to those who sat silently lifting our family in prayer, we are forever grateful. Your collective efforts allowed Mike to be fully coherent and able to communicate for several hours with the ones he loved the most before his earthly body succumbed to an aortic aneurism. Because of your heroic actions, we have memories that are etched in our hearts and will be cherished for eternity."

The Junior High and Junior Varsity Football Games scheduled for Monday September 13 at Lake Preston have been postponed because of inclement weather. Details on the re-scheduled date and time will be released as soon as they are finalized.

*Activity Tickets won't be accepted
*Senior Citizen's will be required to pay the price of admission

The Blue Dragon Boosters are sponsoring the first Tailgate of the season! Friday night before the homecoming football game, food will be ready at 6:00 pm!
