Greetings, everyone! Please be mindful of safety as we start the school year. Parents, recall that the NorthEast parking lot is reserved for school busses ONLY from 7:45 - 8:30 in the morning and from 3:00 - 3:45 in the afternoon. The parent drop off and pick up area is in the west lot at the new gym entrance. PLEASE do not use the lot designated for our busses during the posted times. Cars going through that parking lot present a very real danger to our students. We appreciate your cooperation to keep our kids safe!
Welcome to the 2022-23 school year at GHS and GMS! I'm excited to be here and excited to meet you all. We have a 1:30pm dismissal on the first day and we will have ICU for all grades on Friday and also on Monday and Tuesday of next week. We will use this time for class meetings and beginning of the year business. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

Attention 7th & 8th grade football! Practice starts Thu. Aug. 4, 6:30-8:30am, weekdays only, through Fri. Aug. 12.
The week of 8/15, we will practice from 3:45-5:15pm. Same time on all SCHOOL DAYS once school starts.

The Fall Athletic/Parent Meeting will be held Monday August 1, 2022, at 6:30 in the New Gym. Following this meeting the Soccer, Football, Cross-Country, and Volleyball Coaches will hold meetings to discuss their individual sport seasons and answer any questions that athletes or parents may have.
Activity Tickets will also be available to purchase for the 2022-2023 School Year.
Garretson High School will again offer Concussion Testing for our athletes in grades 7-12.
We recommend those 7th & 8th Graders participating in athletics take the Impact Concussion Test every year, and 9-12 students take the Impact Concussion Test every 2 years.

Where: Garretson Athletic Complex
Time: 9:00-11:00 am
Who: 5th - 12th Grade Students
What to bring: Football Cleats or Tennis Shoes and Water Bottle
Note: Liability Waiver must be completed and turned into Coach Weiland before student may participate in this camp, the waiver may be accessed from the Garretson Website, or copies are available at the Garretson High School Office.
