THEIR HAS BEEN A SCHEDULE CHANGE. The Winter Athletic Meeting for 7-12 Students and their Parents will be held Thursday November 14, 2024, at 6:30 in the New Gym. Following this meeting the Wrestling, Girls Basketball, and Boys basketball Coaches will hold meetings to discuss their individual sport seasons and answer questions that athletes or parents may have. The JH Girls Basketball and JH Boys Basketball Coaches will also meet with athletes and parents after the general meeting. Physical, Pre-Participation, and Eligibility forms will be available. Forms are also available in the High School Office, or you may print them from our school website under Documents/Athletics. Activity Tickets will also be available to purchase for the 2024-2025 School Year.

There will be an organizational meeting Monday November 4 at 6:30 pm in the Garretson School Library for those interested in Coaching the following Winter Youth Sports: Youth Wrestling, Elementary Grade Specific Girls Basketball, and Elementary Grade Specific Boys Basketball. The Garretson FFA is headed to the National Convention in Indianapolis! On the way, they stopped to tour the Dekalb Bayer Corn Seed Processing Plant in Farmer, Illinois. Ms. K and the FFA crew are great representatives of GHS!

The American Legion Auxiliary is sponsoring a Tailgate Supper Friday October 18, 2024, at the Garretson Post 23 American Legion from 5:00-7:00 pm prior to the Garretson Football Game with Chester. The Menu includes Baked Spaghetti, Garlic Bread, Lettuce Salad and Drink, for a free will donation, with all proceeds going to the Legion Auxiliary Scholarship Fund. Bring the family out and support our Legion Auxiliary and Garretson Blue Dragon Football Team.

Monday October 14, 2024 the Garretson Junior High Volleyball Team hosts Lennox. The 7th Grade Match will start at 3:30 pm followed by the 8th Grade Match.
