The Garretson Fire Department is sponsoring a Tailgate Supper Friday October 4, 2024, at the Garretson Athletic Complex from 5:30-7:00 prior to the Garretson Football Game with Elkton-Lake Benton. The Menu includes Walking Tacos and Drink, or Brat, Chips, and Drink for a free will donation, with all proceeds going to the Garretson Fire Departments Building Fund. Monday October 7, 2024 the Garretson Junior High Volleyball Team travels to Elkton-Lake Benton (Elkton). The 7th Grade Match will start at 3:00 pm followed by the 8th Grade Match.

HOMECOMING PARADE ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the chip sealing of some of the city streets, we are asking that all spectators position themselves on Main Street from the School to the North as much as possible. Some of the bigger parade entries may not complete the full parade route after they pass the school in order to protect the newly sealed streets.
