The Big East Conference Middle School Quiz Bowl Competition scheduled for Tuesday March 26, 2024 at Garretson has been POSTPONED. No make-up date has been scheduled at this time.

Virtual Region Science Fair Presentations scheduled for Tuesday March 26, 2024 have been POSTPONED and RESCHEDULED to Tuesday April 2, 2024.

The Region Science Fair at South Dakota State University in Brookings Tuesday March 26, 2024 has made an adjustment to their schedule. Because of the forecast of Inclement Weather Schools WON’T TRAVEL to SDSU. All student presentations will be performed Virtually from their Middle/High Schools.

The All State Band Concert will be held March 23, 2024 at Pierre T.F. Riggs High School. The Concert was originally scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm, but will now be performed at 12:00 pm because of the threat of Inclement Weather. GHS students Caiden Maack and Aiden Johnson will be performing. You may watch this concert by accessing the South Dakota Public Broadcasting Website.

The Big East Conference Honors Band Concert will be held Monday March 18, 2024 at McCook Central High School (Salem) at 7:00 pm. GHS students Caiden Maack, Aiden Johnson, Anna Ebbing, Ben Wastell, and Sage Solheim will be performing with the other Big East Conference School Members. Monday March 18, 2024 Girls and BoysTrack Practice will begin for those 7-12 Students interested in participating. Just a reminder for those students who didn't participate in a Fall or Winter Sport, you must have a Physical on file in the High School Office before you may practice.

Just taking a walk to distribute the Blue Ink and I see this awesome interactive museum curated by Miss Williamson’s 7th grade social studies crew. So awesome and what’s great way to share knowledge!

3rd grade is busy working hard on learning their multiplication facts. Carter and Coyer have officially mastered their 12's and earned Annie's. Way to go boys, keep up the great work.
