The supper will start at 4:00 pm, serving until they run out! The Menu Includes a pulled pork sandwich, chips, and cookie for $7.00…a sandwich alone may be purchased for $5.00. All proceeds will go towards continued playground improvements. Bring the family out and support our Garretson PTO.
Saturday February 17, 2024 the Region 2B Wrestling Tournament will be held at Canton High School starting at 9:30 am. Admission: All Day Pass…Adults = $7.00 and Students = $4.00.

The speech class got some "Real World" experience as they are the DJs for the day on Dells Empire Country today (can be streamed online). They sound great! Good work sophomores!

If you are interested in playing 14 & Under Teener Baseball this Summer for Garretson please stop by the High School office, there is an informational form that needs to be filled out, and turned in before February 16th so coaches can start putting together the numbers. Additional information will be sent out in March including when the parent/player meeting will be held.

The Garretson Girls Basketball Team travels to Beresford Saturday January 27, 2024 where they'll face Beresford at 3:00 pm in the 3rd Place Game of the Big East Conference Girls Basketball Tournament.

4th grade has been busy working on their writing skills and researched how different countries celebrate Christmas! They showed what they learned by making a suitcase that represents their countries Christmas.

Garretson is hosting the first two rounds of the Girls Basketball Big East Conference Tournament Thursday January 25 and Friday January 26, with games starting at 6:00 pm each night. Thursday January 25 Game 1…Parker vs Flandreau. Game 2…McCook Central Montrose vs Garretson. Because this is a Big East Conference Tournament Event Activity Tickets will not be accepted and Admission is $6.00 for all adults & $4.00 for K-12 students.

The Class “A” Region 2 One Act Plays will perform Tuesday January 23, 2024, at the Canton HS Performing Arts Center, Canton SD. Garretson will perform at 2:15 pm.

The 3rd-5th graders flexed their vocabulary prowess these past two weeks. The Spelling Bee challenge concluded today with the oral contest. Congratulations all participants for qualifying and to Landen Snyders for his victory on the word INVISIBLE.
