The Fall Athletic Meeting for 7-12 Students and their Parents will be held Tuesday July 30, 2024, at 6:30 in the New Gym. Following this meeting the Soccer, Football, Cross-Country, and Volleyball Coaches will hold meetings to discuss their individual sport seasons and answer questions that athletes or parents may have. The JH Football and JH Volleyball Coaches will also meet with athletes and parents after the general meeting.
Physical, Pre-Participation, and Eligibility forms will be available. Forms are also available in the High School Office, or you may print them from our school website under Documents/Athletics. Activity Tickets will also be available to purchase for the 2024-2025 School Year.
Senior Banner Pictures will be taken Sunday July 21, 2024…please meet at the Athletic Complex by 7:00 pm. Pictures may be taken at the Athletic Complex or New Gym. The cost for a Banner is $75.00. Seniors will be allowed one uniform for their Picture…whether Athletic, Fine Arts, or FFA. Seniors may have Garretson Activity Props in their picture ex. Football, Volleyball, Golf Club, etc…The Uniform each Senior chooses to wear in their picture can only be an activity we offer at Garretson, no activities will be listed on the banner, only their name will be listed.

If you still have a Lock on your Locker Room Locker, please remove it by Friday May 31st. The Janitors will be painting all Lockers in the 4 Locker Rooms beginning Monday June 3rd. Once the Locker Rooms Painting Project is complete you may put your Lock back on your Locker.

Greetings! Just a quick reminder that tomorrow, May 15th is a 1:30 dismissal for students. Also, the last day of school, Monday, May 20th is a 1:30 dismissal. Have a great evening!
Attention!! Starting June 2nd; for all girls and boys going into 4th-6th grade interested in basketball, there will be a “3 on 3” League on Sunday Nights at 6:00 PM. The plan is 15 minutes of instruction, then 3 on 3 competition to follow for about 30 minutes. There is NO sign-up and NO cost! Come if you want to “ball it up!” with high school athletes and coaches.
There will be an OI Summer Program Athlete/Parent Meeting Tuesday May 14, 2024 at 7:00 pm in the GHS New Gym. OI representative Colby Orts and Program Instructors Katie Klapprodt & Nathan Simmonds will be available to explain the summer program objectives and answer your questions. The last opportunity for 6-11 students to take their Physical at GHS for the 2024-2025 School Year is Tuesday May 14, from 9:00-1:00. The cost of each physical is $25.00 (make check payable to Garretson High School). Forms are available in the High School Office, or you may print them from our school website under Documents/Athletics. Athletic Screening Form must be filled out and signed before the Physical.
