The Junior High Track Meet at Flandreau Thursday April 4, 2024 has been CANCELLED.
Garretson High School will be offering Athletic Physicals to students grades 6-11 for the 2024-2025 School Year... Friday April 12 from 9:00-3:00, Friday April 19 from 9:00-3:00, and Tuesday May 14, from 9:00-1:00. The cost of each physical is $25.00 (make check payable to Garretson High School). Last year we had a very good turnout as 79 students took advantage of this opportunity to complete their physical. Forms are available in the High School Office, or you may print them from our school website under Documents/Athletics. Athletic Screening Form must be filled out and signed before the Physical. Virtual Region Science Fair Presentations scheduled for Tuesday March 26, 2024 have been POSTPONED and RESCHEDULED to Tuesday April 2, 2024.
The Region Science Fair at South Dakota State University in Brookings Tuesday March 26, 2024 has made an adjustment to their schedule. Because of the forecast of Inclement Weather Schools WON’T TRAVEL to SDSU. All student presentations will be performed Virtually from their Middle/High Schools.
The All State Band Concert will be held March 23, 2024 at Pierre T.F. Riggs High School. The Concert was originally scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm, but will now be performed at 12:00 pm because of the threat of Inclement Weather. GHS students Caiden Maack and Aiden Johnson will be performing. You may watch this concert by accessing the South Dakota Public Broadcasting Website.
The Big East Conference Honors Band Concert will be held Monday March 18, 2024 at McCook Central High School (Salem) at 7:00 pm. GHS students Caiden Maack, Aiden Johnson, Anna Ebbing, Ben Wastell, and Sage Solheim will be performing with the other Big East Conference School Members.
