The Garretson American Legion Henry G. Fix Post 23, in collaboration with the Garretson School District, invites community members to attend a special presentation by VJ. Smith celebrating the upcoming 250th Anniversary of the United States.
V. J. Smith is a nationally recognized speaker known for his inspiring stories and messages about character, leadership, kindness, and the values that shape our nation. His presentation will reflect on America’s past while encouraging all of us—especially young people—to think about the role we play in the future of our country.
This event is part of a community effort to recognize the historic milestone of America’s 250th birthday and to bring together students, families, veterans, and community members in a shared celebration of citizenship and service.
