Our 3rd grade class shared amazing ecosystem dioramas last week! Our students spent time researching the plants and animals that make up different ecosystems. They then brought their research and creativity to life with some incredible dioramas. We are so proud of you, 3rd grade!

Middle Student Council donates to the Humane Society and volunteers to pick up trash at Split Rock Park.

On Wednesday, April 22nd members of our Middle School Student Council and TATU group donated dog toys they made themselves along with $200 to the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society. In exchange they got a tour and information about how they take care of over 8,000 animals each year. The group then headed over to Split Rock Park where they enjoyed lunch under the picnic shelter before splitting into groups to pick up trash throughout the park.

A special thank you to the Treasure Chest for donating the shirts needed to make the dog toys, the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society for taking the time to give our students a tour, and to the City of Garretson for providing trash bags.
